Our School Staff

At Christ Church we're proud of our team who work hard to ensure all of the pupils in our care reach their potential. Our team is made up of teachers, teaching assistants, admin stafflunchtime assistants, volunteers, governors, PTA and friends.

 

The teaching staff for 2011/12 are:

 

 

Mrs Bennett is our Headteacher. She is responsible for the day to day life of the school and loves to tell stories! She teaches across the school and co-ordinates Special Educational Needs, Assessment and PSHCE.

Mrs Burton is our Assistant Head and teaches in Emerald Class, which is Year 2 and 3 pupils. She also co-ordinates Mathematics and Religious Education throughout the school. 
Mrs Copper is our Early Years co-ordinator and teaches Topaz class, who are Reception and Year One children. She also has responsibility for our Science work throughout school. 
Mrs Shuttleworth teaches in Quartz class on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Quartz are some of our Year 1 pupils and also our Year 2 pupils. She co-ordinates Physical Education, History and Geography throughout the school. 
Mrs Bentley teaches in Quartz Class on Thursdays and Fridays and in Emerald Class on Wednesdays. She also co-ordinates Literacy and Modern Foreign Languages throughout the school. 
Miss Bartlett teaches in Diamond Class. She loves 'arty' things and takes care of our Arts Mark work alongside the co-ordination of Art and Design Technology. Diamond are our Year 4 and some of our Year 5 pupils.

Miss Hooke teaches in Amethyst class who are some of our Year 5 pupils and our Year 6 pupils. She is very musical and leads our school choir, alongside co-ordinating ICT and supporting the co-ordination of SEN.
